• The Central Region Junior Baseball Tournament will be hosted at Plymouth Park in Midland MI. July 22-27, 2024.  
• More information (i.e. brackets and schedules) will be announced as soon as states notify the tournament committee if they will be entering a team.  
  

The Central Region Junior Baseball Tournament planning committee is pleased to announce the following dates for the 2023 Tournament:

• Tuesday 8/1:  Teams report for Opening Ceremonies, Team Picnic, Managers and Coaches meetings!
• Wednesday 8/2: Modified Double Elimination Tournament plays begins
• Sunday 8/6: Championship Day (Tentative, based on number of teams entering the tournament)

UPDATED 8/11:  DAY 6 IS COMPLETE:  Today's winner was Wisconsin.  Iowa was Eliminated.  Championship Friday will see Illinois versus Wisconsin @ 10 am.

In action on Day 5, Illinois defeated Iowa and Wisconsin eliminated Freeland (HOST).

DAY 1 IS COMPLETE:  Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana all won and advanced.  Click here for the latest bracket.

MI District 1 is proud to be the host of the Central Region Junior Baseball Tournament.  Teams from across the Midwest will be coming to Midland to compete for the chance to advance to the Junior Baseball World Series, played in Taylor, MI.  

As of 7/21 the following 9 states have let the Tournament Committee know of their participation:

• Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
  

At this time, with MI District 1 enrolling a host team, the tournament will be an 11-team modified double elimination tournament with games beginning on August 6th and finishing on August 12th.  

A Tournament draw was held on June 28 and was broadcast on Facebook Live through our Central Region Facebook Page.  On July 19 we learned that South Dakota was not coming and a new draw would need to be held.  That draw took place on July 21 and the new Bracket is listed here:
